Come July & all the attention of the sporting world turns to France, where the World’s biggest Annual Sports event kicks off in the first week itself. This three week long cycling event is perhaps the toughest human endurance sport and the success stories that come out of this is what the legends are made of. Yes, am describing Tour de France. TwitGeek! What will these folks (or web developers) think of next?

I was quite amused to come across this site, which clearly states: TwittGeek is a Twitter application that automatically follows 200 targeted people based on keywords you write!

I haven’t tried it out though, as there’s a reason for me in being selective. I’ve basically decided only to follow web sites/industry associations that are of interest — or ‘of a technical nature’ — to me!  Read more...

Twitter Wonder

The most visible, the most talked about and the most popular site Twitter has got into mainstream with more and more celebrities joining this micro blogging site. I was surprised to read about the latest Twitter story about Hollywood actor Demi Moore responding to one of her follower’s suicide threat tweet and how others took a note of it and tracked the address of the person who posted the tweet, hence stopping her from taking the adverse step. The lady is now in the hospital undergoing a treatment! Thanks to the concerned citizen who reported the threat on twitter!
